Authentication problems
Who can get in?
To gain access to restricted content on the School of Psychology web site:
- You must sign in using a valid UQ Username and Password.
- AND, an association between your UQ Account and the School of Psychology must need to be setup.
This association is made via membership in User Classes.
All Staff, Academics, Researchers and Students from 4th year onwards are eligible to be a member of one or more User Classes.

Still having problems?
If you are still having problems gaining access keep in mind the following common problems:
- Usernames & Passwords are Case Sensitive: usernames will always be in lower case and the password will probably contain both upper and lower case characters. If you use the incorrect case your username or password will be rejected. Check if 'caps lock' is accidentally on, this is a very common mistake that everyone does from time to time.
- Does your browser support cookies and are they turned on: logging into the School of Psychology requires the use of browser cookies. The browser must be set to accept cookies.
- Do you have JavaScript enabled: many pages that require authentication also require JavaScript. The browser must be set with javascript anabled.
